Don’t act like you don’t want to be desireable to men! It’s a compliment! If you didn’t want men to like it you wouldn’t work so hard @ looking good! Besides would you like to be known as “Mom I Wouldn’t Like to F**k?” Take the compliment & keep it moving. Once you get over yourself, you can take it for what it is.

Hey, it’s cool to be desirable. But It’s just not a compliment for some random dude to be running around behind you saying, “Yeah girl, I wanna F**k you.” — Yuck!

Has anybody ever considered just being “got Milk?” (Mothers I’d like to Kiss). It’s much more romantic and you wouldn’t mind your children repeating it.

Fly-mommies everywhere: Consider what you want men to be saying about and to your daughters in 25-30 years.

I think it is all a matter of perspective. Firstly, any dude that is running around and telling women they are MILFs without knowing them and having some type of playful relationship already established is lame. He needs to step his game up. I agree with Doggett80 in that regard.

Now, assuming there is some relationship there or at least some mutual flirting, then there is no question that “MILF” is a compliment, if on no other basis than the man is letting the woman know that she is physically and sexually attractive. Ultimately, if the woman enjoys the attention, then it is a compliment. If she doesn’t, then it is not.

I think use of the term “fcuk” in the direction of someone you don’t know is almost never flattering…. However, I think in this instance the acronym/phrase that is M.I.L.F. is not necessarily meant to be derogatory most of the time it’s used. I’d tend to think that primarily it’s someone saying that she’s a hot/attractive mother and looks damn good for having had children. Can there be a sexual component? Of course, but when men are complimenting any woman, regardless of age or motherhood status there’s going to be a sexual undercurrent.

Basically I think using M.I.L.F. is a lot less innocuous than a dude coming up and saying “I want to fcuk you.”

i think its kinda random and an insult, well if i say it to you. i can think it but to actually say hey ms.lady your a milf = low self-esteem. you should already know your a milf i mean you are a mom….duh.

While I don’t think the term in and of itself is offensive, I would be offended by a dude running up behind me saying it. What is most appealing is the mystery behind the acronym – no one knows what it means until they KNOW what it means and at that point, everyone wants to be part of the MILF club. Ummm, are these shirts still fashionable? I want one now.

This acronym is funny to me. Women are lying to themselves if they say they don’t want to be desired. It’s up to you whether you take that term literally and act on it. If a random guy uses it, it may be somewhat insulting, though flattering. However, a term can only go so far…..how can I get a shirt? lol

I believe this is an insult. There are so many other ways to tell a woman she is attractive or hot than to resort to gutter language. What do you tell your sweet innocent children when they ask you what MILF means? Will you be okay when your 13 year old daughter mimics your wardrobe at school? Are you okay with your five year old using the F bomb? Think about it? You can still be a hot mom without the dip down.

How does the “F” word fit into a compliment???? We all need to be more confident as fly mommies and not just take what people dish out to us. I don’t want to be a mother you want to “F”, sorry, i have a man.

The sentiment is most often meant as a compliment. The term, M.I.L.F., is disturbing to some women because it implies that she can be had and then forgotten, which is an issue of empowerment and social class. I have been referred to as a MILF, and I didn’t take offense, but I mentally wrote off the man who said it. It’s the compliment that comes from a man you would never consider. Men, take note.
