Mini Skirts: Should Mommies wear them??

By Editor

mini-skirtAre mini skirts off limits for mommies? Certainly older generations would have ”clutched their pearls” at the nerve or even thought of a mother walking around showing off her “matronly” legs.  But, does having a child mean giving up your more revealing pieces of clothing?

We at FLAIMAHMY.COM want to know what our readers think.  Leave us your comments and let us know how you feel about mothers wearing mini skirts.

Don’t hold back; we at FLAIMAHMY are eager to know!

I think if the mommy feels comfortable wearing a miniskirt, then she should. But there is a caveat. Don’t go around wearing miniskirts, tight pants, or low cut blouses, if you are going to spend all day pulling at your clothes in an attempt to cover yourself up. Essentially, don’t wear it if you don’t want someone to notice you. To walk around like a penguin with your hand on the back of your miniskirt in order to pull it lower is not a good look.

I didn’t get a chance to make a comment on the MILF entry. So I will say this, Mini-Skirts are fine until you start embarrasing your kids. You would hate to be the kid in school where all the guys are talking about how they going to tap your momma’s jam. Which simply means there is a place and time to wear them (and that place is mine and the time is whenever(thongs optional)). LOL!!

If that mami is hot…she should flaunt it. If you were able to have a kid and still maintain your body…then that should encourage the lazy…no excuse to be big…put down the doughnut chicks to step their game up!

    2 factors must be considered:
    1. the body…if u don’t have the legs to pull it off, don’t go there!
    2. is it age appropriate…women in their 40s and 50s shouldn’t be rocking micro minis…period. Shame on Heidi Klum! LOL. When it gets to look like you are trying too hard to keep up, then it’s time to stop…

Too often us mothers get stuck in a rut, feeling as if we have to neglect ourselves and our appearance due to our budgets and family constraints. I say yes, definitely wear your mini. All women should have something in their closet that makes them feel sexy and good about who they are no matter what their shape is.
